Teen Airlifted To Hospital After Being Stabbed By Juvenile In Charles County (Developing)

An investigation has been launched in Charles County after a teenager suffered serious injuries during an assault involving another teen, according to the sheriff's office.

Police activity was reported at around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon in the area of St. Christopher's Drive near Feather's Court in White Plains, following an altercation between two juveniles.

According to a spokesperson for the Charles County Sheriff's Office, the initial investigation determined that one teen was stabbed during an incident involving another teen.

One person was airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries, though they "do not appear to be threatening."

No additional details regarding the stabbing were initially released.
